Dear friends,
Even though the course is MSc in real estate valuation ( REV)by Annamalai Uni., i am doubtful about its recognition by Various institutions and Income Tax Dept. as degree holder is not a civil engineer which is very basic need for recognition by these dept.s, getting M.Sc. (REV) is different thing than getting recognition. Without their recognitions one can’t do profession as Valuer as all Banks, HFIs , other F.I.s, Govt. Dept.s accept valuations from valuers recognised by valuers institutions and I.T. Dept. only.
And just think that anybody with just a graduate in any stream (besides civil engineering) and a post graduation course of 2 yrs, doesn’t get any deep knowledge about the subject to be valued & is very dangerous as valuation requires very deep technical knowledge in structures and real estates, which other degree holders don’t possess, even it applies to C.A.s too. So i request all valuer friends not to promote this course through this our well reputed, reliable forum.
Any such post graduation course is welcomed but for graduates from engineering streams only otherwise it will make havoc in valuation field |

badamsundararao ji,
Very good suggesition. This course can be offered only to those engineers undergoing as trainee valuer with reputed and well recognised valuers. So they have practical experience from seniors and theory knowledge from VWF on line coaching and become fulfledged valuer..

Idea is good, worth appreciating, but it is beyond the control of an indivisual. Mr Sabapathy tried his best when he was vice president of IOV. It is possible only if our institutions IOV/PVAI come forward, get it approved from AICTE. Now question is who will bell the cat or should the cat come forward? Cat can only run after mouse. |
